Personal Data Protection Notice

This notice is provided under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and describes how personal data of visitors and members of sargasmgames.com ("Platform") is processed.

1. Data Controller

The Platform is an individually operated mini-game platform. You can reach the data controller via the contact page.

2. Personal Data Processed

Account data: e-mail address, username, display name, password (stored only as an irreversible hash); if you sign in with Google, the name, e-mail and profile image of your Google account.
Game and interaction data: scores, play durations, achievements, coin balance and transactions, comments, likes and ratings.
Technical data: IP address (stored in hashed form for security), approximate city/country derived from IP, browser and device information, event/transaction logs.
Guest data: a random, signed guest identifier (cookie) used to track scores when playing without an account.
Contact data: name, e-mail and message content submitted via the contact form.

3. Purposes of Processing

Providing Platform services (accounts, leaderboards, achievements, the coin system),
Securing accounts and preventing cheating/abuse,
Content moderation (comments, reports),
Responding to requests and complaints,
Displaying advertising subject to your explicit consent (Google AdSense),
Complying with legal obligations.

4. Legal Bases

Your data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK on the bases of performance of a contract, legitimate interest of the data controller, compliance with legal obligations, and — for advertising cookies — your explicit consent.

5. Transfers

To the extent necessary for providing the service, data may be shared with the following processors: hosting (Hostinger), CDN/security and media storage (Cloudflare), sign-in and advertising services (Google), error monitoring (Sentry), transactional e-mail (Brevo). These providers may operate servers abroad; such transfers are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.

6. Collection Method

Data is collected electronically via registration/sign-in forms, in-game interactions, cookies and server logs.

7. Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your membership; transaction and security logs are kept for limited, proportionate periods. If you delete your account, your data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable time, subject to statutory retention obligations.

8. Your Rights (Article 11)

You have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose of processing, know the third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad, request correction or deletion, object to results arising from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damages.

9. Applications

You may submit requests regarding your rights via the contact page; requests are concluded within the period prescribed by the KVKK.
